Adult Education Program PDF E-mail

Through a grant from the Adult Education / State Education Agency (SEA), The National Association of Former Foster Care Children of America, Inc. can assist youth in foster care and former foster care children as well as other individuals with an opportunity to reach their goals.

To help prepare our program participants for the world of work, we have a comprehensive approach of teaching and assisting with job search. At our on-site training center (with computers, Internet access, fax, overhead projector, and television and video), we prepare youth through our classes. We offer adult basic education and preparation for the GED exam as well as for post-secondary education. In additon, we help program participants find jobs, prepare applications and resumes, and also prepare for interviews.

Our services include:

  1. Adult Basic Education, and GED preparation classes;
  2. Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System (CASAS) Testing;
  3. Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and learning profiles;
  4. Learning Disability Screening;
  5. Mentoring and Tutoring and;
